At Amchi Bakery, we strive to deliver fresh, high-quality bakery and confectionery products. Due to the perishable nature of our products, this Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, replacements, or cancellations may be processed.
1. Nature of Products (Perishable Goods Policy)
All cakes, pastries, desserts, flowers, and customized bakery items are perishable products and are prepared fresh upon order.
Therefore:
Returns are not accepted once the product has been delivered or picked up.
Refunds are not applicable for change of mind after delivery.
Slight variation in design, decoration, color, or icing may occur due to hand-crafted preparation.
2. Order Cancellation Policy
A. Standard Orders
Orders can be cancelled minimum 6 hours before delivery/pickup time.
Refund will be processed after deducting payment gateway charges (if applicable).
B. Customized / Theme Cakes
Customized or designer cakes cannot be cancelled once preparation has started.
If cancelled 24 hours before delivery, partial refund (up to 50%) may be considered.
No refund for same-day customized cake cancellations.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refund or replacement will only be considered under the following conditions:
Wrong product delivered
Product damaged during delivery (clear unboxing photo/video required)
Quality issue reported within 1 hour of delivery
Order not delivered due to our fault
To request refund, customer must:
Share clear photos
Provide order number
Contact within 1 hour of delivery
Late complaints will not be entertained.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refund will not be applicable in cases of:
Incorrect address provided by customer
Recipient not available at delivery location
Delivery refused by recipient
Minor design variations
Slight color differences (screen vs actual)
Taste preference dissatisfaction
Delay due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
5. Delivery Policy
Delivery time slots are approximate.
During peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Festivals), delivery delays may occur.
Once order is handed over, responsibility transfers to the customer/recipient.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
Refunds will be issued to original mode of payment.
For cash payments, refund may be issued via bank transfer or store credit.
7. Store Credit Policy
In certain cases, Amchi Bakery may offer store credit instead of monetary refund. Store credit must be used within 30 days.
8. Force Majeure
Amchi Bakery shall not be liable for failure or delay due to events beyond control including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, transport disruptions, or government restrictions.
